Personal Information

We keep the following information about you: user name, e-mail address, name, country and personal web site. This information is used in the registration process, and might be available to other users through your profile page or by posting content. Other information may include time zone and signature. We do not store or ask for sensitive information such as, credit/debit card data, address, telephone numbers. We would not disclose anything that could be used to identify you as an individual. Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

Mailing List

For the moment VladGh.com does not use a mailing list, so you will not receive from us any e-mail what so ever, except for the confirmation e-mail during the registration process, and optional comment reply notifications. This might change in the future but not without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

Passwords

The password used to identify you as a user of VladGh.com is encrypted on the fly, and the that encrypted form is stored in the database,making your real password unknown. That's why we recommend the use of non-dictionary words when choosing it. Also the underlaying infrastructure (the web server and all it's components) has multiple layers of security for most of the attacks used to discover user passwords (such as brute force attacks).

Log Files
As with most other websites, we collect and use the data contained in log files. The information in the log files include your IP (internet protocol) address, your ISP (internet service provider, such as AOL or Shaw Cable), the browser you used to visit our site (such as Internet Explorer or Firefox), the time you visited our site and which pages you visited throughout our site.

Cookies and Web Beacons
We do use cookies to store information, such as your personal preferences when you visit our site. This could include only showing you a popup once in your visit, or the ability to login to some of our features, such as forums.

We also use third party advertisements on VladGh.com to support our site. We also may use DART cookies for ad serving through Google’s DoubleClick, which places a cookie on your computer when you are browsing the web and visit a site using DoubleClick advertising (including some Google AdSense advertisements). You can choose to disable or selectively turn off our cookies or third-party cookies in your browser settings, or by managing preferences in programs such as Norton Internet Security. However, this can affect how you are able to interact with our site as well as other websites.
